Best Free Computer Utilities

If you need firewall and anti virus software/ spyware which actually works then this blog is for you.

I have got the new HP quad core at home [got it this thanksgiving door buster] and another laptop. I needed to protect them from out side evil world so put a firewall to block the intruders. 

I installed the COMODO firewall [download here] which is also has the anti-virus in it. It is one of the best software tool i have found other than Open office and ubuntu in recent times.

There are other choices as well for the anti virus like AVG [I used it for some time and needless to say it is a very good product]. 

Anti-spyware, Even after so much i got some malware on my system [i think i got it from an executable which I ran]. I tried so many things to get this thing off my system, even bought the webroot from best buy [i hate spending money on software but i was in dire need], btw i recommend not buying this software. 

I did some research and found this Super-Anti-Spyware. This yet another free tool on the web did find the malware and also quarantine it. Since then Super anti spyware is living on my HD and guarding it against all such malware and antispyware. 

I will update my blog with more free and best used stuff for our home and small business computers.
